Global Ambassador
Rain and Work Pouring Down!
by Trevor Krueger on 05/02/12
This last week to ten days has seen constant and heavy rain across much of the UK, yet would you believe we still have a hose pipe ban in place for the coming summer and are in an official state of drought. Yes, our last three winters have been very dry apparently and the water table is low so it will take up to 18 months of rain to catch up... I'm going to start selling boats if that happens! People have already been drowned and homes ruined in the floods in some British streets - an amazing situation. Climates are certainly confused it would seem but no one seems able to confirm anything 100%.
I have been busy on all sorts of things, mainly trying to instigate the restructure and rebuilding of Global Ambassador. Apparently, the module I wanted to work to is not commercially viable due to national apathy to invest in their own country profile pages and many have had a problem grasping the thread of my message. Very simple I would have thought; an opportunity for nations to promote their "real" selves regardless of what the media is saying about them and a chance to promote national trade and welfare. Is that so confusing? I didn't think so. Anyway, we have a new structure in proposal stages and I'm waiting to hear what the experts think about its chances of survival in the fast changing world of information. Our new focus will be on highlighting charities and good causes who need exposure and improved public awareness. We will add to that a fund collection service that will ensure the right people actually receive the donations. It's still a big job but we are getting there. I hope that this year will finally see Global Ambassador launch and get under way.
Finally, this last week has seen me marching for better community services in my home town and the abolishion of a project to build a new supermarket - when the people want a community centre. Plus I am campaigning against a 1200 house development near my home that will devestate local countryside and wildlife, establishing a residents association to help improve the area where I live for everyones benefit, learning to use new home recording software that will enable me to produce news broadcasts for the sites and develop my story material for release on CD and download.
Other than that I've just been puttiung my feet up!
More news on the Global Ambassador situation as it happens - right here.
Marching in the Rain in Support of Local Issues!
by Trevor Krueger on 04/24/12
last nights march went well despite the rain. I estimate about 100 people turned out to take part and The Star, Guardian and Everything Epping Forest were there to cover our efforts. I got interviews with all papers. Let's hope we get good write-ups. If nothing else it will establish our cause and efforts to stop something the town does not want, they have to listen - surely... even if only in their subconscious. (Photo on home page)
Marching For Community Rights! April 23rd 2011
by Trevor Krueger on 04/10/12
On Monday the 23rd April at 6.30pm we will be taking to the streets of Epping to protest against the proposed development of St. Johns Road and the former Junior School.
The Council want to develop the site as a new Supermarket and Housing project while the community wants a community facility. It should be easy to ensure a community gets what it needs and wants - shouldn't it?
Apparently not.
At least not when the Governement is offering to pay local Councils £1,500 per annum per house, per year for up to six years. This enticement makes giving up land, that should be used for the people to enjoy, an easy decission because of the profit the Council stands to make from the deal.
How much longer will money prove more important than the needs of a community?
Of course the Government suggests that part of that money should be used to benefit the community. A grand gesture, but will the people feel the benefit of this windfall?
Who knows, but can we take the risk and let things happen outside of our control?
No, we must make our feelings known now, in Epping and every community where the beurocrats have a free hand to get away with anything they like.
Stand up for what you believe to be right, fair and just for your community. If you don't - who will?
Your quality of life depends on the structure of the local area you live in and the contentment of the community. If people are happy - life is generally peacefull. But if there is anger and resentment who knows what your neighbourhood could turn into...
Research Stating the Obvious?
by Trevor Krueger on 03/30/12
Yesterday the Governement published its findings on the cause of the recent riots in the UK. This is what they say was at the route of the problems....
Lack of Morality in our youths
Lack of Values and Respect
Obsession with Consumer Goods
Poor Parenting
Lack of Opportunity
None of this came as any surprise to anyone other than - those in Government?
Regardles of what people may say in cliche put-downs of the older generation... it WAS better in the old days and we WERE happier in general. Even though we didn't have all the trappings, gimmicks and access to the communication devices and entertainment gadgets it is apparently impossible to live without these days...
Less really can be more!
We have to restore values and respect as well as self belief and ambition. The youths of today are not bad, they just lack direction and mentoring. We elders often hold back due to the misplaced fear of being judged as offering advice to young people which may be construed as out of touch or unwanted. Many seem more inclined to let the younger members of society just get on with it - alone and unaided.
That is wrong and can only lead to disaster.
What we need are real community leaders who are not afraid to stand up and be counted as capable of offering good advice, direction and general mentoring. People who are not afraid to point out that it is very unlikely the future is going to provide for you - unless you have made an effort to get off your own backside and carve your own niche in life.
It is unlikely that everyone will win millions on the national lottery, become a pop star on the X Factor or American Idol, get signed up as a pro footballer or boxer, launch the next Face Book or even marry into money. So, the alternative is to stop dreaming, get heads out of the clouds and face up to the fact that unless individuals take steps to build the life they dream of for themselves - they are never going to get it.
The alternative to making personal effort towards a positive future is a life of under achievement, disillusionment and possible missery.
As I say, so often here, we only get one life, one chance to make a difference, either for ourselves or for others...
So, if you get a chance to motivate or mentor a young person where you are - please do it. Give your support, leadership and guidance to help them fully realise and benefit from their own abilities and potential.
Not only will they be grateful that you showed you cared and benefit from your support, you will feel great about yourself too.
Get out there and show the world what you can do by helping others discover what they can do!
Fighting For Community Rights in Our Town
by Trevor Krueger on 03/28/12
In recent weeks, and after some eight years of time wasting and deliberations, the local Council are finally pushing their ideas forward for the development of the redundant Junior School site at the top of our High Street.
Typically of a Council, they gave the town just three weeks to choose from four options of development, three of whcih were unaffordable because they didn't have enough funds - that meant we were getting a new Supermarket.
Oh no we're not!
What the public want is something for the community, so that's what we are campaigning for with a March and Petitions etc. You can find out more and get involved at: http://www.facebook.com/groups/236668006424222/258493414241681/
Or you can visit the Little Sew n' Sews website at: www.littlesewnsews.net and click on the picture of the School we want to turn into a Community Craft & Culture Centre.
The future has to have more focuss on community and not commercial enterprise otherwise society and thesocial side of civilisation will die.
It's time to stop focussing on Facebook, Texting, Emails and virtual lifestyles - now is the time to promote social intercourse.
Get behind us if you can!
Exploring in the New Dynasty
by Trevor Krueger on 03/22/12
This morning we laid my mothers ashes to rest with my father beneath the same Oak tree that has provided his cover and natural outlook for the last 4 years. Finally together again and at peace for eternity. That makes us all feel a great deal easier about losing Mum. Three brothers, now accepting the family reigns for our duration upon the Earth. It feels strange somehow and, I guess, a little like having finally grown up. At 52 years of age - for me it's about time.
As most of you know, my father came to England as a German Prisoner of War during WW2. He met my mother and never went home. Back in his village of Lindenberg near Demmin he left two sisters whom he never saw again. He was always afraid of writing to them as their home is in East Germany and he was afraid of the authorites and of getting them into some sort of unkown irrational trouble, so we did just that, we left well alone. But some years ago I found it impossible to live with the mystery any longer. I just had to know if my aunties, whom I had never met and knew little about, were still alive. Back then the internet was not what it is now, there was no easy route to locating people or making contact. So I approached the British Red Cross to find out for me, which they did and with great results. I was eventually told that both sisters were indeed still alive.
Sadly, I was also told that they did not want to make contact again. As might be expected, with no word coming of Dad's condition or whereabouts they had assumed he was killed in the war and had long since accepted his demise. Indeed, I was told that his name is even remembered on the local War Memorial, though even this was not without its own twist of fate. Apparently there had been two young men in the same village with the same name and no one knew for sure what had happened to either of them or to whom this memorial related.
So many questions about that side of my family have haunted me all my life. I could have many relatives out there who do not even know we exist or have any connection via a young man who left their village all those years ago, to go to war at just 18 years old or so, never to return.
Three nights ago while going through my fathers documents including his birth certificate, I could resist temptation no longer. Research is easier these days. I have a computer, links to the net of course and skype, what harm could it do to see if I could find any Kruegers' still listed in Lindenberg?
I cast my net onto the web and sure enough I found two names, one male, one female. Both even had phone numbers... but I don't speak German. Should I ring and break the silence of so many years? They may not be anything to do with my father or any of his late family? But if I did not make a move now and attempt contact, I would continue to live in mystery.
I decided to ring the woman first, she may be more receptive to a stranger from England trying to find his long lost family. The phone rang but no one picked up, just an answering machine with a message I could not understand. So I hung up. What would I have said anyway? I waited a while and looked again at the other name and number I had, I just had to dial again and see if this time I would be luckier and get an answer. I typed in the number and waited as every ring made me more nervous. And then an answer. A man's voice. I asked if he was the name I was looking for, he said yes. I explaind in broken German why I was calling but he did not know my fathers name, why indeed should he? My father left there in the 40's and he would have been a distant lost relative to this man at best. Then I asked if the names of my father's sisters sounded familiar?
Yes! One did.
Conversation was difficult and clumsy and made worse by my excitement and eagerness to learn more, but here was hope and a reason to dig deeper. We were able to understand each other enough to agree that I would call again, next Saturday, to talk to his daughter who speaks English. Wunderba!
And that's how it stands right now. I will indeed ring again on Saturday night to find out if these are my relatives. When I do find out, I will tell you all about it right here...
I don't know if I am more excited or nervous. But this has to be done. I simply have to know - wouldn't you?
Time To Move Forward
by Trevor Krueger on 03/18/12
My mothers' recent passing was very sad, she was a great friend and ally as much as she was my mother. Always encouraging and always supportive, I'm going to miss her terribly.
But the truth is, I will now have more time to focus on myself, my immediate family and the objectives I hold very close and dear.
My plan is to make more of an effort to penetrate the public psychi. More people need to know about what I aim to achieve and by spreading the word I hope to get more support to help fund the enormous tasks I have undertaken.
I shall be putting together a promotional video as soon as possible, introducing some of my ideas and views and hoping that I can gather sufficient support to take myself on an international lecture tour through which I hope to help people focus on positive ideaologies, personal development, social care initiatives and the general spirit of global community.
As ever, I invite your support to help me build Global Ambassador as a platform for the people to communicate with the people and to encourage every positive activity that will help promote world peace, complete international integration and community development.
You are still invited to get involved, to work with me, share ideas, promote the cause etc. Just drop me a line and let's start making plans for the best way forward, the best way to bring the world together to focus on complete survival through better shared resources, skills and time. Our objective - to make the world a fairer place to live in.
Tomorrow should no longer be about how much we can amass for ourselves, but how much we can generate for the benefit of others. We need to encourage a selfless society, one that puts the needy before the greedy.
Want to help me promote that?
Can you really find the courage and inner strength to dedicate your life to making the world a better place?
Millions die of disease and starvation every year. Wouldn't you feel so much better if you knew you had directly helped to save some of those lives?
One life, one planet, one chance to make a difference.
If we don't try to achieve something positive while we are here on Earth - why were we put here in the first place?

As a result of a massive stroke on the 14the February - Valentines Day, my mother sadly passed away on the 3rd March 2012.
She was dearly loved and will be incredibly missed, my best friend for all of my life.
She will be laid to rest with my father in a beautiful natural cemetary setting amidst the trees in Epping Forest on the 15th March at 2pm.
Regular blog entries will resume once I get my focus back and can think of the future more than the wonderful past.
Rest In Peace Mum. You were the very best mother any son could ever wish for.
My Gift To You - ZeitGeist
by Trevor Krueger on 03/02/12
The greatest treasure I missed out on in my life is - an education.
Knowledge is the truly powerful and liberating wealth.
With this in mind I offer you such a gift, for I believe the Zeitgeist movement to be the most important initiative I have witnessed in my lifetime.
With truth and opportunity we can change things for the better. If we understand the problem we can contribute to securing the solution.
Please, if you never do another thing for yourself, go to the home page of this website and watch the movie I have posted for you to digest.
I believe this to be the truth and the wake-up call we all need.

The Search for Help Continues
by Trevor Krueger on 02/23/12
Since embarking on the Global Ambassador project, an attempt to establish a united platform for all nations, offering a voice to promote themselves, counter any contrary claims to their own objectives and promote their involvement in international relations - I have sought assistance. Assistance that can help me construct, promote and embed the Global Ambassador platform as "the glue" that helps to bond nations together - free from political, religious or editorial bias. This is what I had been asked to do - to give nations a voice, especially those otherwise ignored, forgotten or ostracised by those who may want to control their development or influence.
I have worked hard and tirelessly to do this - but progress is still slow.
For whatever reason - third party support is hard to attract and secure. Though the lip service in support of my objectives is considerable, tangible involvement is still proving elusive.
I have approached many individuals, corporations, consultants, banks and academics to assist me, but all seem too busy with their own objectives to lend time to mine.
As just one man I can only do so much - limited by resources and time. How I long for a team to work with me, to get involved and bring this important project to life.
Time is running out fast.
If you feel you can assist Global Ambassador in its development and promotion - I would love to hear from you. This important and valuable initiative needs your help. So please, if you are in a position to support what I am trying to do on behalf of peace and international relations and the creation of a truly Global Community - please get in touch.
Silence is of no use to anyone.
I look forward to hearing from you
Church of the Common Good
by Trevor Krueger on 02/22/12
I'm thinking of starting a new organisation to run alongside Global Ambassador as another communication conduit designed to bring people together across the globe.
It has always been my belief that there is good in almost everyone but, if we focus on the general "man in the street" for the moment, I believe that any would run to help another in a time of need, regardless of his nationality or religion.
It is this "Common Good" that provokes me to build on that basic instinct, that we all, regardless of colour, creed or belief, have an inherent decency towards our fellow man.
I want to encourage and recognise that fact by developing a gathering of minds around the world who commonly believe that we are all brothers and sisters who would each help the other in a moment of need.
With this in mind I am considering setting up the "Church of the Common Good" a humanist based society that celebrates the way most of us go about our decent lives, responsibly, considerately and with an inner spirit of kindliness.
Intended to cut across all religions and welcome every faith to its numbers.
Your comments and thoughts would be welcomed.
Mum Still Unconscious
by Trevor Krueger on 02/22/12
It's been over a week now since Mum had her stroke and she is still unconscious. Every day we try to reach her by talking to her and holding her hands etc, but so far there has been no progress.
The stroke occured after she was struck by another resident at her care home in Harlow. It was no ones fault, her attacker is also a sufferer of Dementia. He hit her in the face with his elbow, in anger at the dining table, he has no knowledge of what he has done.
It's all very sad but we are doing what we can to bring her round.
I'll let you know how it all turns out - fingers crossed as ever!
Mum Has Massive Stroke
by Trevor Krueger on 02/18/12
Sorry I've not been posting lately.
My mother had a massive stroke on February the 14th and, as I write this, she is still unconscious. At 92 years of age she is very week as you would expect so I am fearful of the outcome.
Naturally, I am visiting her every day and at this busy time I have little time to spare beyond my commitments.
I will get back to the Blog as soon as I can. I know you will understand.
Best wishes
Trevor
Too many passions - not enough time...
by Trevor Krueger on 02/02/12
This week I have been enjoying getting back to my ambitious hobby - script writing. I love to write and especially find pleasure in constructing gags for comedy scenes. Most recently inspired by the excellent "Mrs Browns Boys" on the BBC which, though a little crude at times, is very funny and a warm mix of adult and schoolboy humour. I have never lost the joy of a good silly joke that inspires a belly laugh, aching jaws and tears running down my cheeks, the cause of many a pair of damp trousers. So inspired have I been - that I have written to Brendan O'Carroll, creator and star of the show, for advice on structure, timing and pace. I have even invited his interest in some of my gags. Since I sent that email, I have written 5 pages of jokes for the show - just in case he gets back in touch and invites me to send him something... well, you never know!
This week I also went to see the excellent West End Rock Comedy "Rock of Ages" starring Justin Lee Collins and Shane Ward, whom I met afterwards along with other cast members. It's a very funny show with great rock music content and plenty of lovely ladies who don't leave much to the imagination. We took our ten year old son to see the show and he spent much of his time hiding behind his program, much to the amusement of some Americans behind us. He's a good boy - brung up propper!
Laughing is great medicine so take liberal quantitiers in your life. There is plenty of bad news out there if you want to soak it up, but I suggest you give it a wide berth and look for the fun instead. You'll feel much better for it I promise.
I'll let you know if I hear from Brendan - but, like me, don't hold your breath, I doubt I will be that lucky... but you never know!
